The Series 4000 Controller provides the very latest technology for quality storage of potatoes. The controller is a stand-alone environment controller capable of providing high quality reliable storage conditions through making the necessary decisions to operate fans and louvers.
The system consists of multiple robust Crop Temperature Sensors together with Duct and Ambient Sensors. Data feedback from these provides the necessary information for Controller modulation of the air intakes to provide efficient and accurate regulation of the store environment. Performance has been perfected through many years of experience with constant updating of the control program and equipment specification.
System flexibility is assured with varying lengths of quick release crop sensor. Adjustable frost settings protect against any adverse conditions that may threaten damage to the potatoes and internal fan re-circulation of the closed store is available as standard. Control can be selected to operate on peak or average crop readings and the UAPC-28 includes internal bit switch settings to allow for the adjustment of damper pulse settings making it suitable for all ranges of louver motor. CO2 flushing programs are included as standard and RH% and Carbon dioxide sensors are also available.
The Series 4000 controller is a valuable asset in the drive to improve storage efficiency. Intelligent use of low cost electricity tariffs can vastly reduce the consumption of premium rate electricity with corresponding savings in running costs.
The Series 4000 controllers can be programmed to provide timed downloads of data to an 80-column printer as required for logging records of the stored crop for later analysis. The optional Memory stick facility provides long-term data storage and is capable of downloading to any PC computer. The data can be used to generate graphs and absolute data logging facilities. Alarm functions available include the ability to send text Message Alarms to selected mobile phones via the telephone auto dialler unit.
For multiple store control, Series 4000 controllers can be networked together and connected to a PC computer. Many customers prefer the simplicity of using Windows style programs and the familiar mouse to adjust and interrogate the controller settings. Stealth Electronics Software is easy to operate and temperature displays can be viewed for any controller on the network at anytime. Monitored temperatures can be displayed graphically and can be configured to include ambient temperature, alarm set points and date stamps. The graphs can also be printed on a colour printer.

After security passwords are entered, temperatures can be accessed via the Internet from any location in the world, a truly technologically innovative use of the web.
